Reviewed: PSD "Kool-Aid Man" Boxer Brief

It is a cartoon pitcher of red drink smashing through a brick wall, printed across your underwear. Either that is funny to you or it is not, and no review is going to move you.

The print

Licensed Kool-Aid artwork on a red ground: the Kool-Aid Man mid-burst, fist raised, with navy and light-blue brick debris scattering across both legs. The Kool-Aid wordmark sits on the front of the leg and OH YEAH! lands on the back. The whole thing is edge to edge — no blank panels where the print runs out.

The actual garment

Under the joke this is PSD's Core Standard cut in their perforated breathable knit, which is the reason the brand sells at all. Mid-length leg that does not ride up under jeans, flat seams, and a wide branded waistband that stays put through a day of sitting or a day of moving.

The waistband is genuinely the product. It is printed on both faces, firm without gripping, and it is what people are actually buying when they buy PSD twice.

Sizing

Six sizes. True to size — take what you take in every other brand. The knit has plenty of stretch, so between sizes go down rather than up; a loose boxer brief defeats the whole cut.

Who it's for

Anybody who thinks underwear is allowed to be funny. And practically: if you have never tried PSD and are not ready to commit to a print this loud, the plain-ish styles use exactly the same cut and waistband — this is a good one to find out on.
