Ethika vs PSD Boxer Briefs: Sizing, Fit and Which to Buy
Ethika and PSD make the two boxer briefs on the rack in Bossier City. How each fits, how the sizes run against your jean waist, and how to pick between them.
Ethika and PSD are the two boxer-brief brands on the rack at Exclusive Apparel & Kicks, and the question we get most at the counter is which one to buy. Here is how they compare, from wearing both.
Sizing: both follow your jean waist
Ethika and PSD size the same way. A 28 to 30 waist is a Small, 32 to 34 a Medium, 36 to 38 a Large, 40 to 42 an XL and 44 a 2XL. If you sit on the line, Ethika's Staple runs a touch more compressive, so go up on Ethika and stay true on PSD.
Fit and feel
Ethika's Staple cut is the tighter, sportier fit: a longer leg, a wider waistband with the woven logo, and a stretchy micro-poly blend that holds its shape. PSD is softer and slightly looser through the thigh, with a plush waistband, which is why people who find Ethika too snug end up in PSD.
Prints
Both run allover prints and licensed collaborations. PSD carries the Playboy, Kool-Aid Man and Broken Promises collaborations; Ethika runs its own BMR and Staple graphics and solid colours. Kids and boys sizes exist for both and sit on the kids underwear page.
Price and packs
Singles run $15 to $20 a pair here. If you want plain basics by the bag, the Supreme x Hanes boxer briefs come four to a sealed pack on the essentials page.
Which to buy
Pick Ethika if you want a snug, athletic fit that stays put under slim denim. Pick PSD if you want soft and roomy, or a specific collaboration print. Underwear is excluded from exchanges once opened, so use the waist chart above, or text the floor at (318) 355-0844 before you order. See everything in stock on the underwear page, with the Ethika and PSD racks on their own pages.
